As we gather in the streets to rally, march, and protest, let’s lift our spirits with song!

This site offers a selection of new topical songs to sing at rallies—with lyrics, chords, audio, and video samples. We’ll feature songs of justice, equity, immigration, freedom, peaceful protest, solidarity, courage, righteous anger—some with a healthy dose of humor.

We’re prioritizing rally songs that are short, spunky, and easy-to-learn, with or without lyrics on hand. Also included are more complex songs that can be performed at rallies, at other gatherings, or in living rooms.

And we have a section for classic protest songs—those that have stood the test of time, and are once again relevant. Plus a catch-all page for other topical songs.

We’ll also periodically feature, on the site home page, a suggested list of songs for specific rallies and for urgent issues. And we’ll be adding songs to the site, so check in from time to time for more material!

Peace and light,

(The Rally Songs Collective is a group of seasoned San Francisco Bay Area songwriters, busily churning out material for these challenging days. We welcome submissions of prospective songs for review and possible inclusion on this site, suggestions for the Classics section, or ideas for chants.)
